Rescue League urges people to adopt kittensJune 06, 2005The Animal Rescue League of Des Moines Iowa has a masive amount of kittens, and, in the spirit of national Adopt-a-Cat month, the organization is encouraging people to adopt. The Animal Rescue League of Des Moines Iowa receives several litters of kittens per day, and is in need of canned cat and kitten food. Donations may be taken to the main shelter, 5452 N.E. 22nd St. Cats and kittens can be adopted at any of four locations: 5452 N.E. 22nd St., 1500 22nd St. in West Des Moines, at Southridge Mall or the Ankeny PetSmart, 1715 S.E.
