Local Animal Shelter Killed Their Pet By Accident

A local family looses two of their eleven dogs after shelter mistakenly euthanized one and lost another.

Burlington,NC,USA

They blame the Burlington shelter for what happened when eleven of their dogs were quarantined until proof that the dogs had all their shots.

Heike Collin came up with the papers but when she arived to pick up the pups only nine of the eleven were there. She could not believe what the shelter said happened to one of their dogs.

"We're really, really sorry we made a mistake, we didn't know the dog was yours but we euthanized that dog yesterday morning," recalls Collins.

To top off the fact that one of her dogs was dead, another of her puppies was missing from the shelter.

Police are now investigating what happen and why.
