The Bluetick Coonhound is a breed of dog. They are a type of coonhound and are typically bred in Louisiana.

History

The origins of this breed can be traced back to the Bleu Gascogne French hounds. The breed is also recognized by the Australian National Kennel Council and the New Zealand Kennel Club. Breeders have started the process of obtaining recognition from the American Kennel Club.
